Employers added a lot of jobs last month. And Amazon makes a big purchase of its own. The US economy has now regained all jobs lost during the pandemic. Employers added 528,000 jobs last month.

The Nasdaq was down 63, or half a percent.

Back to the jobs report, it was more than *double the 250,000 that economists predicted. The unemployment rate also went from 3.6% to 3.5%. It’s the 19th consecutive month of job growth… and is the highest monthly gain since February. The healthcare and hospitality sectors saw the biggest gains.

Amazon really wants to map your home, so it just bought iRobot, the maker of Roomba vacuums, for $1.7 billion. The deal expands Amazon’s presence in consumer robotics. iRobot not only makes Roomba robot vacuums, it also has mops and lawnmowers.

Two weeks after announcing the Choco Taco would be discontinued, Klondike now says it’s looking at ways to bring the popular treat back. People ran to social media to find new ways to say oh no, it’s gone. But all Klondike will say is they’re hoping to bring it back in the coming years.
